3 Tools You Need to Win

First, let’s start this off right with

Can you believe it’s already 2021?! God is so amazing! I’m praying that this year is finding you in good spirit and fully encouraged. For many people, last year was a shocker met with uncertainty, tragedy, fear, and so much more. Many declared it was a year of perfect vision due to the play on 20/20 vision. However, I believe most of us had the opportunity to discover who we really were regardless of what we’ve been claiming.

This is where our blog post finds us today.

With all of the changes we have seen happen instantly, it would behoove us to arm ourselves with tools that will ensure our success.

Tool #1 Resolve

Resolve in its noun form simply means having a firm determination regarding something. The good news about that ambiguous definition is that you can fit it for what you need it. I’ll give you an example of how these tools should play out.

I resolve to show up everyday for my family and my businesses, along with having intentional quiet time with the Lord.

Notice I didn’t give myself an exact method that’s going to look like. Why? Because this wife and mama of energetic and inquisitive little boys refuses to pick up unnecessary pressure. I have an idea of how that looks but I’m flexible.

Tool #2 Direction

The second tool to add is direction. You can have the resolve to potty-train your toddler in two weeks but if you haven’t set the direction of your course, you won’t even know where to begin. For this post, direction can mean specific instructions or a specified course or path to take.

I am spending at least an hour a day reading God’s Word while praying throughout the day. I’m nurturing my family by pouring into them after I’ve been refueled by the Lord. Lastly, I’m picking just one business to focus on per day until I establish a rhythm.

Listen, I’m not going to say that what I’m doing will work for everyone and it may even be contrary to what the “experts” are saying. Guess what? We all have unique elements that impact our lives in different ways. Whether it’s my advice or coming from a well-known whoever, if you find a method that you think may work, try it but remember every result varies per person.

Tool #3 Focus

Lastly, is the blessed tool called focus and we’re defining this as fixed, intense concentration. This is what will help our resolve stay in tact and our direction to remain sure. You may have to ask yourself the 5 W’s and H (who, what, when, where, why, and how) regarding focus to remain clear.

The love and fear (reverence) of God compels me to live for Him through and through so my methodology to stay the course and maintain my resolve is founded upon His Word.

When I think of the pleasure and acceptance of my heavenly Father, I can’t help but win.

How well will you win this year?
