We can be so distraught and deterred because of what we see. Many people are shaken because of terrorist attacks going on, riots everywhere, signs in the heavens—it’s enough to make one’s head spin if they aren’t focused.
This is what I want to draw your attention towards—Jesus Christ. Many of us have made the profession that we are children of God yet a lot of us are worried about politics and who’s ruling the nation. Many are losing sleep regarding things that are out of our control—like the major phenomenon that happened today, the total solar eclipse seen across the USA. Woman, where is your focus? Who is your God? How is your peace? If you are in Christ, then your focus should be set on Him, remember Matthew 6:33? He is your God (God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit—three in one). He alone is the Source of your peace because the Word calls Jesus Christ the Prince of Peace.
It’s time to be bold and courageous for the Lord. We can’t allow the things of this world to so easily beset us. We can’t allow the temporal things that we think we need remove us from abiding in the Lord and Him abiding in us. This life we’ve been chosen to live is one where it’s all or nothing. Either we overcome and endure to the end, or we don’t. We are either born again or not. Either we trust God, or…Well, you get the picture.
I don’t know about you, but I’m choosing to be an overcomer. I have decided to endure to the end. I am using every talent that I’ve been entrusted for the glory, honor, and praise of the Lord.
