I recall a time when an acquaintance of mine tried to exalt me—I had to decline. You see, I’m simply me. In myself, I’m just a brown painted woman, wife, and mama. But in Him, I’m called and chosen, uniquely gifted and talented, blessed and accepted. That’s who you can be too if you let Him lead you. So don’t offer me praise. Worship, honor, esteem, and elevate His name—Christ Jesus.
