How to Free Yourself and Feed Your Hunger

This is my third attempt at blogging this evening, and my first restart of this post.

Sigh.

There are many things that I want to talk about. I’ll start here. For what are you hungry?

Is it normalcy? Stability? Better health? A whole family?

Whatever you do, don’t tell me. Be honest with yourself. You can tell me anything you think I want to hear, but it won’t serve you well unless you’re being real with yourself.

Over the next few days, I want you to reflect on yourself a bit, and see what you need to feed right now. Also, see what you need to starve. For both, I pray for your courage and strength to do what’s necessary.

Right now I’m doing the same because I’m hungry to be who God created me to be, and to show up as her daily. I’m choosing to starve procrastination and small thinking. It’s stretching me in every area of my life—spiritually, emotionally, financially, physically. Yet, it’s producing something glorious.

Guess what? As you reflect on yourself, there may be some discoveries that won’t feel good. That’s okay. Face it and deal with it, whatever your “it” is and go forward.
