Tonight my four-year-old decided to read to me Lucy Cousins’ Maisy Makes Gingerbread, among other stories. I was busy, so at first, I wasn’t aware of what he was doing. But when I slowed down, I realized he was reading and articulating very well.
Sometimes that’s life for us. We’re so busy that we almost miss the magnitude and magnificence of what’s right in front of us.
If only we slow down and pay attention, oh what discoveries await.
Love,
Candace
