“Expecting”
Be it day or night
No one knows. Live ready, friends
Jesus will come soon.
Hey, girl, hey. I know many of my posts lately have seemed to take a different spin. Honestly, though, the reason I blog is all about pointing people to Christ. You might be a wife and SAHM like me, and we can easily get caught up in the busyness of everyday living. But we’re more than the next laundry load or soccer game. Life is more than kissing boo-boos, bedtime snuggles, and our husbands’ embrace.
God created us for eternity, yet are we living that way? There’s a reason why 1 Corinthians 13 reminds us of the abiding agreement with faith, hope, and love. The greatest one being love. You might not give yourself a Mom-of-the-Year award, but if you’re allowing God’s love and Word to lead your life, great is your reward already. We need all three of these working in tandem because this is where righteousness and obedience towards the Lord begin.
There are many people out there who still don’t know the Gospel, and we have a charge to keep. Take care of ourselves and our families, yes! However, it doesn’t stop there! Stay in communion with Holy Spirit so that the works we do for our families and our sphere of influence won’t be in vain. Our Lord asks us will He find faith in us when He returns.
My answer is, “Yes, Lord. Help me, Holy Spirit, in whatever area that I’m missing the mark.”
How will you answer—and will your life match your words?
Love,
Candace
