Waiting games

Today has been interesting. Constant baby squawking that tried to upend my theology. I usually get what I pray for—and I’m thankful! It gets tough sometimes and I feel like sulking in a corner, too. Being too emotional doesn’t fix a thing; it just keeps me from having the right perspective.

Have you ever found yourself in that position? The very thing you prayed for becomes your greatest, most trying test? What do you do in those moments? How often do you fail that test by creating actions that stems from your negative emotions and thoughts? Whenever you pass the test, do you take a moment to celebrate your win or do you just shrug it off and keep it moving?

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

‭‭John‬ ‭16:33‬ ‭KJV‬‬
